Totally agree about the 3b preflop. 2 things that I have learned from this discussion overall here and at another forum:

1. Don't 3b a super lag as they are likely to call with many types of hands.
2. By being oop, I am allowing him to do whatever he wants and I'm in guessing mode all the way.

My read on this guy at the time was that he was trying to put pressure on people. When he checked back the flop, I put him on some sort of air quite often. Had the river not paired the turn, I would have folded as I felt it put more likely a bluff in his range. He ended up showing A2o and I took down the pot. That fact is irrelevant as it was more important to play the hand properly then win it and wanted some overall opinions.
