It is all a take on how you will play the hand. 4bet pre sounds the best of the advice. AA KK will let us know then if we are beat as will QQ most of the time. And he if he 5bets pre with AK he's a donk you want anyway. |
I always play JJ like the nuts against a 41/24 with 6% 3bet (no one ever said this was over a small amount of hands) in a 3bet pot with all undercards on the flop in a button vs. small blind situation. 4bet/folding JJ preflop is really bad. If you want to play weak/tight, then calling the 3bet and folding to the cbet or just folding to the 3bet are cheaper ways to do it. If you 4bet preflop, it should be with the intention of snapping off a shove.
