HEM w/ Cake support in BETA (no HUD)

Not sure if this is old news, but I didn't see it posted anywhere on here.

Get the Beta 1.09 Beta 7 patch. I played 2K hands with the auto import on and everything imported accurately. I changed my name at 1K hands and set up a "Cake" alias to track everything together. Still no HUD. I feel kinda stoopid for shelling out $50 for the Cake HH converter now.

i dont think there will ever be a HUD for cake as its against their T&C....

There will never be a HUD but it is great to have HEM work with Cake. Great investment for a program that will last even if you move on from Cake.

I was instructions from HEM on how to get your hands to show up from cake but it didn't work. Can anyone help me get it to work? I'd really like to analyze my game and find holes and such. I have the trial version of HEM but I'm pretty sure thats not the reason.

What the problem seems to be is when I go to put my Hero name from cake into HEM, it doesn't accept it or find it in the hand histories I think. Help?

When you are linking your hand history folder are you selecting the sub folder (handhistory/accountname) or are you selecting the parent folder (handhistory) and checking the search all sub folders box?

You must do the latter for it to even retreive any hands at all, I made this mistake when I first setup HEM for cake and it would not retreive any hands.

Well, when I first went to do it, I could not get to the hand history folder through HEM. So I moved the folders location and renamed it on both my PC and in Cakes options. I do have the + subfolders option checked. The hands do not appear to have been imported when I set it up the way HEM instructed me to.

I honestly have no idea, I can tell you that yesterday I decided to change my screen name on cake only to learn that Holdem manager would not show my second Hero name in the list, I could add it, it would populate, but I could not view stats for that screen name for some odd reason. It definitely seems a little buggy and cake support reverted my username within 15 minutes so I had no issues tracking my hands.

Hope you find a resolution.

Perhaps if I change my player name to my login name? I changed it a few months ago..

Worth a shot IMO, for some reason HEM seems to only recognize the first screen name that was imported. It is in beta afterall.

well I tried it on PlayersOnly which runs on the cake network and it didn't work. Oh well I'm going to get a FT RB account and a deposit bonus too. Then I'll have a hud, RB+bonus: pretty much the best combo I can think of.
