Server Issues

As everyone can tell, there has been some server issues these last few days. I've been talking to the company for a few days now and I'm not sure what's causing the crashes. I'll keep everyone updated with what's going on. The site may go down a few more times until they figure out what is wrong.

Might there be a problem with the bandwith, because probably this site will take pretty much traffic with the movies.

I've had a programmer checking it out and he's not been able to solve the problem.

It does happen from all the RAM being used up, but I don't think it's because of traffic. Over the summer, we had way more traffic coming to PokerTrikz and it wasn't crashing the server.

I'm searching for another programmer that can hopefully clear up the server issues. If anyone out there has any network and server skills, please PM me and I will gladly pay for your work to get everything going.

On the other hand, if I can't manage to pinpoint the problem, I have a few other things I might do. I've been in the early stages of developing a new PokerTrikz design, so I may try to get that moving faster. The new design should simplify a lot of the programming and hopefully solve the RAM issues as well.

I'm really sorry about the problems, but it has been looked into by multiple people already. I will keep trying until it's fixed or we have the new PokerTrikz though.

I put in a request to add some more RAM to the server tonight. If it helps, I don't mind paying the extra money and I found out it's not too hard to downgrade later on, if it's not needed. The site will be down from around 4:00-7:00AM EST for this maintenance.

So let's cross our fingers and hopefully the extra RAM will handle everything until the real issue can be found.
