Your hand history is messed up (the big blind acts before the small blind, and the small blind just checks preflop). But I like the flop and turn. I fold the river. I don't think you're good the 40% of the time that you need to be to profitably call here. I think you get shown a better Q a ton.

I don't think I could fold this even though it's probably the right play. His line is just so ridiculous. I actually doubt he'll show up with Qx very often... more likely to be something like 7's full or 2's full. |

That $12 bet just looks really odd. What can he really be doing that with? I would tend to think that he is trying to buy the pot. if it was a slight overbet like $8 i would think he was trying to get value. If he is a tricky player i would fold, but it looks like he is trying to take advantage of the "scare card" with a busted draw or a hand like 78

Thank you for responses. Sorry for f*'ed up HH, Ongame seems to suck badly at this. I've forgotten to follow my own advice, donkeys overbet pot either shoving or just overbeting on turn - with a draw, on a river - with like nuts. I've noticed this a lot. Now they may bluff with overbetting the pot on the river w/ position, but without - it's always nuts, just because they're so bad and don't know how to value bet and get paid. Absolutely agree with no eff ekks. And in this particular he did show 2's full. |

The thing is that especially micro's, can't say 100% about low and middle stackes are just absolutely damn fishy. To be completely honest, I've never actually seen a person, who's re-buying constantly for full stack, like adding, you know, default for a good or at least a player who wants to become good. I've seen that like, two times over 60k+ hands. One good player once said, that you shouldn't jump from one site to another and like, if you're playing crazy lag - continue that on, without adjustments. In some parts I'd agree. Like for example iPoker is of course fishy as well, and I wouldn't be Superhero telling you everywhere is enough fish. But the way mainstream fishes play could be different from site to site. I used to play at iPoker for some time. Yes, they're terrible, but they are more tighty. Here - I swear to god, mate, I don't even do a river bluff when my hand got zero showdown equity. No point, they're calling forever. And I swear again - 80% or MORE call with pairs with two overs on flop. That's why I'm improving in direction position orientation play and dream about becoming supercool at double barreling. Cheers) Last edited by aLoner; 08-28-2008 at 11:19 PM. |
