Default 50NL - get it in or give it up?

Villain is a rather tame 26/5/1.5 over 200 hands. What do you do?

I would fold, expecting to see a horribly played 33 or 88 if I got the money in.

just a bad player who hopes of getting max value for his set by check calling flop - raising turn and shoving river..hard to give up the AA's in any spot

How do you play your sets? Check/raise the flop? Donk the flop?
When there are many draws i'll check/raise the flop but i also sometimes take the line that you suggest...

as far as playing set - you should really have to get all money in as soon as possible if you think you are ahead. Just calling flop and then c/raising river usually comes to fold, whether scary card for him, or just he feels that he is behind. Especially if nit guy raises infront of me and I catch set, I check raise him like 2.2-2.5 and he shoves over me, and here we get his stack, unless suck out though.
