Play together

Hi guys. I think it would be interesting to all of us play sometime together, like other sites do, So we can discuss hands right away, and learn more from each other.
What do you think?

i would be in for that. but the question is, where do we play. i think that a lot of us play on different sites. i personally only play on stars

I play on Stars and Bodog. Prefer Stars though with hand replayer and new layout. Play micro now, so don't care about rake that much.
Will move to Cake or Red Stars though with higher limits, starting like NL50.
Though it is really hard to cash out from Cake, takes a week at least and cost money a lot.

I'll play in a forum game sometime. I've got money on Stars, Full Tilt, and Absolute... Not sure where most people around here play, but hopefully one of those three works.

While I think it is fun to do, there are soooooooooooooooooo many headgames that come into play here that it wouldn't work like a true session and thereby not give an accurate account of true play. I still think the railing of other players and analyzing as hands go on is the best thing for learning other than hiring a coach.

I would think it would be more for fun rather than a learning experience. I figured we'd play $10nl or $25nl and I could spew off 10+ buy-ins and allow some other forum members to move up early.

The reason why I'm trying to do that is I play in tourneys with guys I know.
Like I said Uni-phi, adept33, no_xcape - are all tourney guys, who sometimes organise theit own games not for much, but more for fun.
and the most interesting part is guys who are the last 2 record the video, and then you see heads up play from 2 points. It's great learning point
The other thing, if you ever been to pokerdynasty.net website they do it on regular basis and then discuss hands.Sure we all make money from donks mostly, but as far as moving in limits, you should learn to play against good players. And I believe that everyone on this site is more then just that.
Also that's the best way to improve our community.
So anyone just let me know when on PS and will do it
I believe the best time for everyone is Saturday evening
It would be great start.
Then we can organize first SNG, then some other stuff.

i have a wedding tonight so i will not be playing. i will be playing sunday. R8tme, is that your sn on stars?

i do agree with the comment that playing together might not help as much at the lower levels, but will when it comes to the players of the higher level. i do think that it is a good idea to play with people who are thinking players. i think that a lot of interesting situations can arise if we play together that may not be common place in the micro games but can still happen. remember that we are not the only ones out there that are trying to improve our game so you will run into people who are as good if not better.

also, just in reading the forums i feel that there are a few different styles here so it will be nice to see them in action.
