I would call and proceed carefully here. This is a pretty drawy board and you are behind to quite a few hands here. TT, 77, 66, 76, 98 are all hands we are behind to and hands like T9, 87 have pretty good equity against our Jacks.

Hi. you didn't give his stats, though if you use poker tracker you can always give guy's full stat, if you don't have PT let me know, and I'll tell you how to it for free. Extremely useful program for all cash game players. if he is unknown, but full stack. First that come in mind ,is guy knows what he is doing. So he called you either with SPP or good drawing hand. In the future though raise 4BB at this level. I think that your opponent has nuts, why? Cause if he had set he would repop more, he would try to get money ASAP, cause any other card is really scary for this board. Minraise at this level means nuts 80% of the time. So fold and move on |

and my thinking process continues. you have +EV hand, and position. The second factor is more important. But here it all depends on your opponent. Call him. and see his reaction. if he fires again big, fold, small, then call. Just again from experience, most of the guys having just a pair are not firing big. They are scared as you are too. So in this occasion c/c would be fine. And even c/r on the river. But again just look at the bet sizing and his stats. Don't do it against nit, or elephant/station |
