Default Waking up to a bad beat....

Well, had a wonderful day yesterday with the wife and friends as we went to see Dave Matthews yet again. He puts on a great show. Got home early this morning and went to take my son to work around 11:30am. As I walked out of my house, I noticed some dirt marks in my yard. Well, to my horror, I found that someone broke into my shed and stole both my sons and my dirtbikes. I guess I had left the shed unlocked while getting my cooler out for the concert, but I had the bikes locked up with a very stong cable lock. THE THEIVES USED MY OWN PRUNING TOOL TO CUT THE CABLE!

Anyhow, needed to vent a bit as I am really feeling gutted at the moment.

Ouch, that's pretty brutal. Homeowner's insurance cover that?

No, but luckily I did have a special policy for my bike. I never added my son's to it because it was older and really wasn't worth insuring (I'm the insurance agent )

I knew the risk of not having my son's insured and I'm ok with that aspect of things.

It was awesome! We have been for the last 6-7 years in a row at Nissan Pavilian in VA.

The worst part of all of this is that I am having a hard time sleeping as every noise I hear is making me jump up out of bed freaking that someone is breaking in.

My dad put a big lock and chain on his shop after a few breakins. Left the oxy/acetylene torch out one night.

Yep, they used the torch to cut the lock. I feel your pain.
