Im wondering how many tables you play and how you have everything set up. Personaly i like to view as many tables as possible so i can follow the action and try to make a few notes. If I play with the tables cascaded i feel i cant really follow the action on the non-active tables. Currently im playing 6-8 tables on Cake tiled in two rows on Party and Full Tilt i only play 4 tables because i use a had and i gets really messy when the tables are minimized (causing trouble becuse hud stats are in the way) I like Cake, Prima and Full Tilt because the have color coding available making my need for a hud less needed. Would like some input on note taking as well , especially from multitablers. Do you go over all HH later and ad notes? or? iīve tons of other questions but ill hold em for now |

i usually play 8 tbls and have them in two rows of 4 and really i can only see action on a couple of tbls at one time. I prefer this as it helps me to not over analize any of the hands or players. you will learn fairly quickly which players at the table are going to be where you money comes from and focus on there actions. i used to do the cascade but you are really only able to look at 1 tbl so i switched and really love my set up now. as far as notes go, i do not know what level you are usually playing, but on stars there are so many players and tbls that i do not sit with the same players often enough. so i just use very general notes on their play. it is a pain when tbls pop up 6 time while trying to type two words. i feel though that writing too specific of notes can be detrimental. if you do not play with these guys every day or every couple of days, the way that they play from month to month can drastically change. he might be limping in with K2o and then a month later stopped that, but you could make a play based on the fact that a month ago he was limping like that and be completly wrong. that is just my 2c on note taking. |

tx 4 the responses On notes right now i play mainly on Cake = no hud I use the color coding to place players in certain categories and try to make a few notes L = limper Lp = perma-limper Lp++ = limp even more Type 1: Q5o Type 2: JTo Type 3: AQ, small pp, KQs mrs = minraise strong board T72ss Type 1: ATs+ Type 2: over pair + Type 3: TPNK + Type 4: 33 ( 1 in a million) sp = slowplay mR = miniRe-Raises i try to write down what i see them doing it with LR = limpRe-raises and my favorite note w = weak player in generally im also interested in Re-raised pots but at my current level this doesnīt happen much. On Full Tilt i use similar notes but like to use the following color coding Green = weak player Yellow = very nitty 7/7 minimum buy-in short-stacker Orange = nit ( to tight steal blinds ) Blue = tag ( at FR any decent+ nit also) i use the different blue colors. Deep blue = donīt let this guy sit on your right. Red = lag (plays to many hands and not to good- else his in blue) Purple = loco plays atc and puts his stack in with air because you can see players color in the lobby it helps a ton in table selection, which might not be a big concern at low stakes but its nice to grow good habits |
