Hey guys, new to the forums! I'm currently playing NL50 at Cake and have been for about a month.. Sorry for the HHs, I can't get the converter to work! Hand 1: I've seen this guy make a few moves since I've started my session. Here, I think he's not repping anything and he's only trying to get me to fold hands like 22-JJ, AK I guess. I'm pretty much always good here but my question is do you just call the turn and let him bluff the river or is my shove ok? I may get called by a flush draw here and thats about it.. It's an easy fold but I'm still not sure if bet/fold turn is better than check turn, call river. A lot of his flush draws have an Ace with a better kicker so I don't know if I'm betting for value against a draw. What do you guys think? Hand 1: I think it is ok to shove. If he has KQ or QJ, he most likely will call, so you get all the money in. If he were to have QT, Q9, Q8, then this might prevent him from calling and prevent a possible suckout. Hand 2: Since you said that he was so aggresive towards you, I think that checking behind would be better. You have position on him and by checking behind you keep the pot small and avoid the c/r. This way you can either check it down if he lets you or he may think you do not have anything and thus value bet the R which might be less than what you put in on the T. |
