Default Double barrel against a Tag - Profitable?

**If someone can move this to Full Ring, that would be great.***

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (8 handed) - Full-Tilt Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

UTG ($15.05)
UTG+1 ($3.75)
MP1 ($6.55)
Hero (MP2) ($85.10)
CO ($33.80)
Button ($4.65)
SB ($35.80)
BB ($25)

Preflop: Hero is MP2 with 7, Q
3 folds, Hero raises to $0.75, CO calls $0.75, 3 folds

Flop: ($1.85) 5, 3, 2 (2 players)
Hero checks, CO bets $1, Hero raises to $2.65, CO calls $1.65

Turn: ($7.15) A (2 players)
Hero bets $3.80, 1 fold

Total pot: $7.15 | Rake: $0.35

Villain is a pretty good tag. He knows my game well, and I know his very well.
Does villain ever see the ace on turn come, and expect me to 2barrel, since he knows I'm capable of knowing that the A is a good 2barrel card.

Villain if you are reading this, can you post your hand and what you were thinking?

I really don't like your crai on the flop. You rep about... nothing but a bluff, cause you are unlikely to check a set or overpair on that board! If I were villain... I might call the flop and raise your turn bet /w ATC or just 3bet you on the flop.

But since TAGs on 25NL do not think about stuff like that most of the time... your 2cond barrel should be fine, cause the A is a scare card for his whole range.

Off topic:
Is it "at 25NL" or "on 25NL"?

At 25 nl i believe.

I think a lot has to do with history of villain and I. I have over 20k hands of him and know his tendencies and his perceived image of me very well.

How is this play against unknowns?

I'd just dump this preflop. As played, I'd make a normal cbet on the flop. As DeKay said, villain would never expect you to c/r a real hand as the PFR on this board.

Ok, thanks

Wow, 20k is A LOT... especially at 25NL. But if you do not tell us about his tendencies, we can not tell you, if the crai is good against him

I really try to avoid to play pots like this against unknown players. You never know, what kind of player he is and if he is calling you down light /w 66 here...

Its the hi-jack, not mp.
All players except one big fish are very tight. And i can outplay the fish postflop.
I know CO well.

I use to play a very tight 17/15 in the 6max games and was winning at an okay rate. I recently got some coaching and swtiched to 10-14 tabling fullring with a new lag style that i have developed. I am crushing the games with this new strategy. I now play a 23/19 with a 9 AF full ring.

The open was mainly based on how game flow was going/feel for the game. I'd say half the time i will be folding this, but i love the blue color of diamonds, so i had to raise.

If I haven't been clear yet, the Villain in this hand is a member of pokertrikz, and i would like to know what he thought during the hand.
