Default mid pair/flush draw vs station

did I play this one too hard? villain is a station 37/6/1.3 over 40 hands.

i was putting him on top pair or some mid pocket pair the way he played it so I had to hit my flush/two pair to make him fold or stack him. I was somehow surprised with what he had. looking back I'm not sure about my bet sizing either.

Bet bigger every street so that you don't have to overbet the river.

I don't play full ring, but raising 97s from that position is probably playing it too hard to start with, especially with a calling station left behind. Not that bad I don't think :/

Flop, yeah bet more.

Turn, I dunno, you can't stand a raise and your hand isn't bad, maybe a check might be better, since as worse 7s and other pairs fold anyway to a bet. But if seeing as he's so passive/bad, he might call and he probably won't raise till the river if he has something good :P

River... I agree with Given actually, overbetting is pretty much saying, I have a flush. You say he's a calling station, so it's probably fine, but normally, bet about just under pot or pot.

If my raise was bad, his call was worse. He had Kc3c.

Had I had a suited ace, he would be my friend for life.
