I recently deposited on cake and built my roll up to about $1200 before making the leap fromp 20NL to 50NL but have found the games to be a night and day difference. Are there that many more skilled regs @ 50NL? Non showdown winnings @ 20NL were positive, in just 7k hands i managed to turn that deeply negative @ 50NL. Lost about 3 BI's in that stretch so I am going to move back to 20NL, grind it back up over $1200 and proceed to give it another go. Was hoping someone else could verify the absolute night and day difference between the two levels. I was beating 20NL @ 8BB over a 20K sample just for reference. I just keep telling myself its only 3 BI's but I literally had 18 straight sessions at cake without a penny lost since depositing so it certainly caused me to lose a little confidence in my game. |

I notice this different at 6max on the cake network. Question for you, how do you keep track of things like your winrate and BB per hour and what not when you're on the cake network? I plan on switching over to FT after I clear my bonus on the cake network so that I can use my copy of HEM, but until then, how do I keep track of that important information?

I run HEM and auto import hands as I play and I monitor my session stats throughout. HEM works with Cake it just does not allow the use of the HUD (and it hides other players names in your database). You however cannot change your screen name on Cake or it does a number on HEM's funcionality (as in breaks it). I learned that the hard way but support changed it back for me in like 15 minutes so no biggie.

I changed my name, and I found that out too. I changed my name back, but no luck. When I go to put my hero name into HEM, it never accepts it. Another problem is that I can never locate the folder that the hands are automatically imported into, so I've had to move it to a different location to select it in HEM. I wish I could get it to work but I'm bad at fixing tech issues.. |

Well my move up this time went better (for the first 3 sessions) and then WHAM. Another nasty swing and coolered for 6 BI's in less than 2 hours rofl. Never ran so bad in my life, cake hates me apparently. Every set I flop brings a turned/rivered flush, KK<AA, set over set. Ugh variance blows. Just waiting for a solid start to instill a little confidence after moving lol.
