Default good result w/top set on flop...?

I dont know if this is good or bad.

When I hit the set I thought Id try an overbet, i wanted him to either fold or call with a pair thinkin I was bluffing. When he raised I put him on trip 6's/7's.

Do i call flop or raise back? Do I care about any SD or made straights or is getting it in with top set on flop against an unknown always the best play?

It's too unlikely you're beat by a str8, and if you are then you can easily hit a boat anyway.

If he has TP or overpair then many turns will scare him, better to stick in on the flop.

He could be bluff-raising, but readless you can't assume that and adjust your actions (like calling to induce turn shove).

So, I like your play very much

Well you obviously got the result you wanted but betting so large can push someone off the hand. Obviously though there is a fine line between letting some catch a card and making them pay the price to see it.

Betting pot is no overbet I almost bet pot in these situations as well... so I think it's fine.
