Angry Can anybody beat these Cake donks? bc obv I can't

Can anybody beat these Cake donks? bc obv I can't ....

Just started a roll on Cake w $400 on Friday. It's Monday night and I'm already down $200 playing 0.10/0.20 FR (mostly) and 2 tables of .10/.20 6max bc 6 max supposed to be more profitable. In my opinion just bigger/luckier idiots.

Anyways, I don't know of a working/usable Cake HH converter, so I'm gonna just try to use web pages I guess.

H#1 - 2 outer
Cake Poker

H#2 - do you not get it in with the flush? ignore the 24s ... just flush
Cake Poker

H#3 - 53o in limped BB, flop trip 5s, do you not get it in? and wtf is he limping 59 from MP anyways?
Cake Poker

H#4 - I have KK, standard CB on scary board, shut down ... idiot called pf w A3o and min r flop .... LMFAO
Cake Poker

PLZ tell me I'm doing something wrong bc at least that's correctable!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hand one, nothing you can do.

Hand 2, fold that pf first of all and you don't find yourself getting into this mess. Since we did play it, you have the baby flush on a paired board. I'm looking to get to showdown cheaply here vs someone that keeps betting once the flush hits.

Hand 3 I'm going to defer to someone else, but I'm likely to get the money in there as well. The problem is that you have pretty much turned your cards face up and he is still begging for action, which puts me into a quandry.

Hand 4 As much as I hate it, I think I lay down to his min raise here. He's not raising with anything you are ahead of and you only have 2 outs to improve. Sucks, but lay it down on his raise.

1: Only thing wrong with this one is the chat berating.

2: Fold preflop both times.

3: When you 3bet such a dry flop, you're not gonna get action from too much other than better trips.

4: Fine.

Hey man, keep your head up. Once you start figuring the game out, $200 is going to seem like nothing to you so try not to sweat it too much.

One thing you could try doing to reduce your variance is playing fewer hands. I'm not sure if you have pokertracker installed on your comp or not, but if you don't, it's a pretty wise investment. Try reducing your stats to about 12/8 if you can and just open up more tables if you end up getting bored.

It may be boring, but nut peddling allows you to learn the fundamentals of the game and you are still able to make very small gains doing so.

I want to talk about hand number 3 a little bit. I think this comment says it all:

"H#3 - 53o in limped BB, flop trip 5s, do you not get it in? and wtf is he limping 59 from MP anyways?"

When the flop is 556 rainbow, what range of hands are you actually putting him on here? Action goes you bet, he raises, you reraise, and he calls. Do you really think he's doing that with a 6 or pocket pair here? His range at this point is any five or pocket 6s for a full house.

There is only one hand in this entire range that you can beat, 52, and every single other hand in his range has you absolutely crushed.

This is a spot where you should definitely check call to keep the pot small. Leading the flop is totally fine, but I am definitely not building a big pot here for the exact reason I mentioned above -- in a big pot the only hands you're up against have you crushed.

My suggestion to you would be to try playing less hands and when you're not playing, actively try to put the other players on ranges of hands. Then when you are up against a certain player and have a hand, try to refine his range and narrow down what hands you have beat, what hands beat you, how much a hand that you have beat will call on each street, etc. etc. Try to move from being a lvl one thinker (thinks only about your own hands) to a lvl 2 thinker (thinks about what your opponent could possibly have and how your hand measures up) and you will see great improvement in your results.

Default one last thing

like i said before man, don't sweat it too much. it seems like you're working on your game and if you're willing to put in the time and effort, these micro stakes games are definitely very beatable.

Oh and yes I have PokerTracker but my Cake HH Converter is useless and have worked on it a lot but to no avail. But since I'm broke I have given up on fixing it.

If the vids aren't working for you, you can try reading some poker books too. I really recommend No Limit Hold 'Em, Theory and Practice by Sklansky and Miller. If you give me your email addy I can send some ebooks your way.

H1: fold to large turn bet. I would have to think I am no good in this spot and would expect to see the straight or a set more often than not.

H2: Fold preflop. His limp/reraise means I am getting out of the of the hand since this line, when I see it, always ends up being a pair that is generally TT+ Plus I cant ignore the 24s its a terrible hand to call 2 preflop raises with. As played its a baby flush so you are dead to the bigger flushes and the preflop action has to make you consider a full house possibility I think.

H3: Just a cooler I think. After the reraise on the flop i might just call here and then check/call all the way down (this may be weak tight of me though ) which probably means its all going in anyway, or it may have slowed the villain down a bit as well.

H4: Was fine. The min-raise sucks but ultimately I think you lost the minimum anyway so good pot-control and he was obviously worried about the 3rd Q
