Default Looking for a new pokerroom

Hey guys,

I need your advice, i'm looking to change to a new pokersite. I've been playing at party poker but there new softwareupdate doesnt do it for me . I hate the new graphix and non of my pokersoftware works anymore. (spadeeye, partyplanner: automaticaly places my tables, the betpot script). I have tried cake poker but the lack of hud support and low table selection couldnt keep me there.

So if you guys tell me wich some pros and cons are for the rooms you are playing at, go ahead. I'm kinda intrested in full tilt and pokerstars.

Full Tilt has nice software and is good if you get Rakeback and don't play NL10.

Games are a bit tougher though.

I would suggest pokerstars. No rakeback though, just FPPs. But huge player pool with tons of fish for all. Plus they have the best tournaments and biggest prize pools. There is always a game going as well and all the HUD and scripts work here (to my knowledge). Hope this helps.

How does the FPP system work at pokerstars? Can you exchange the points for prices? I'm a european so this wouldnt be off any worth to me because prices are (normally) only shipped to the US. Is pokerstars worth it if there are lots of fishy players but no rakeback or should i try FT with rakeback but with tougher games?

Would also like to add: if someones wants to trade cake funds for either fulltilt or pokerstars, just let me know

+2 for pokerstars. this has been my main site since party shut down to the US. i have never really had any issues with the site and there are always a ton of games going.

Also really easy cashouts. and support is great. I have not played on Fulltilt in a while but i hear a lot of bad things about support and cashouts. pokerstars also does have the best tourny and stt options around.

i feel pokerstars is also the safest site that you can play on.

+3 for Pokerstars.

a) Biggest site on the net with tons of action going on and enough fish to have a good edge
b) rakeback trough FPP program. It seems there are still many people who are not aware of this, but you can change the FPP you get trough the rake to $$$ if you like that better than the stuff in the shop.
c) Best Software I've ever seen

The shop articles are actually almost all available in Europe too (well, at least in Germany there never was a problem). With a few exceptions, the price is identical also. You will have to pay more for the bigger electronics like the 30" monitor because of the taxes I think. It's 165.000FPP instead of I believe 120.000, but the shop has so many great articles it's definitly worth grabbing as much FPP as possible. I order many times a month now and always was satisfied.

I dunno, I just find everything really difficult to find.

I didn't try looking in options but I'm not a fan of how slow it all moves and stuff like the pot being at the top. Maybe it's just me!

the no top off feature does drive me nuts. when you start a session and you have many tables open you are constantly trying to refil and then you get that pop up box stating that you will have to wait till the hand is over to be refilled, like anyone though otherwise.

i guess a lot just have to do with what you are used to. I never have trouble finding anything at stars, and when i would play at tilt i would get so frustrated bumbling around trying to find the right tourny i would just stop looking.

there is a reason why tilt and stars are the biggest, and i do not think you can go horribly wrong with either. a lot is just preferance.
