Default Security Precautions

A lot of us take for granted the funds security we have online at different sites. Upon logging into FTP today, i had a popup that there were 4 attempts to access my account not by me. Just a quick public service message to take high precautions to your security on your accounts.

There are a few websites online for reporting it, and they contact the IP.

This is for location: http://www.ip-adress.com/ip_tracer/

I use keypass - you can generate random passwords and safe them in an encrypted DB. I have 20-digit random passwords on anything that has to do with money or privacy.
Does not help you, if somebody hacked your PC (and keyloggs)... but makes it pretty hard to hack the account without knowing the PW

Stars has an RSA token that many players use FWIW.

I would imagine that the poker accounts that we have are even more vulnerable becuase they could go on and just intentionally lose the money. Compare this to a bank account, where it is more difficult for them to actually take money out..
