Default down 6!!! buyins in 45min!

wow! terrible day today. I just lost 6.5 Buyins, in world record time.

1) 1st hand: set over set
2) after 5min. flopped flush against a higher flopped flush.
3) AA got cracked by 2 pair on dry flop
4) QQ versus KK pre.
5) kk vs. Ak. turn brings the A
6) another floped flush in BB! bet all three streets on dry board. got called on river...villain had flopped a bigger flush again.

That's it for today! What actually pis*** me of, is the hours it will take to earn everything back.

Wish you guys better luck today

That's definitely a tough 45 minutes.

What stakes are you playing at tmiby?

well, it's only 10NL. The money doesn't hurt.

I'm working on getting it back...

If these are the spots you're losing money, I wouldn't worry about it.

I wish I could get my money in this good most sessions.

But still... I have to ask

3) AA got cracked by 2 pair on dry flop
4) QQ versus KK pre.

I'm obviously being results oriented, but you usually stackoff in these spots? Like if you got c/r'ed or started getting raised on a dry flop with AA? Were you pushing or calling off QQ pre (this is inherently a slight EV edge spot anyway)?

Maybe it was right to stackoff, but maybe depending on reads, game flow, history, etc., possibly you're glossing some things over. Doesn't hurt to review even these seemingly "bad beat" sessions.

weaktight | Hand | KAo - $0.5/$1 No Limit Holdem

I also lost KK vs AA against this guy... both hands in one orbit (and then he quit, obviously)

Poker can be brutal sometimes.

As I remember I was IP. 3bet pot. He c/c all streets. I thought, that I'm might up against KK, QQ, JJ...but he actually got two pair on turn...

4) I usually don't get it in with queens. I agree with you. but this was against the guy that just took me out with the flopped flush. only a few rounds later. I picked up this hand. He just 3bet pre. I felt like he probably thinks I'm tilt anyway. So I openshoved...but he actually got KK...

I don't really understand 4bet shoving, especially when you make it with weak hands.

You want to keep his range as weak as possible for getting it in PF, so you should 4bet small with QQ and call it off.
