6:00: I think you're tightening up too much. A co limper in front, you have T6s otb, I think this is a decent enough hand to see a flop at very least. But fold's good. 6:40: shortstack minraises your bb. You have a King and it's suited. You can call here. Unless your plan is to c/f anything but hitting 2 pair or flush, or being being scared to play a pot with one pair. I don't mind reverse implied with a very low kicker. We know our kicker is no good if we start getting some heat. And we have lots of potential to make some funky monster hands. And it's a minraise! We can't get our blind stolen for a minraise! But again, fold is good. 7:22, you iso raise 88, utg limp/pushes, it's so standard to Fold. We're crushed or racing. Not worth calling after we invest just 5bb's. 10:09, I would have preferred to iso raise with T6s from before than 76o. But it all worked out. Why 76o over T6s? 12:25, A7 otb, iso raising short new player. What happened to playing a bit tighter? A7 is really a super rag hand, even with position. I'd rather have Axs with wheel potential OOP than A7 vs a shortstack. Maybe it's a small consideration and I'm the one thinking about it wrong. Table 2, KK, KK, QQ... Zero action. Brutal. But this happens when you only raise 3% of your hands, and you were playing very, very tight on table 2. 20:00, AK on KKT flop.... inducing shortstack to bet. And there was straight draws and flush draws on turn. It's more likely you get called on flop or turn because of all those draws. He shouldn't ever fold even if he has a draw with the price he's getting anyway. You're never c/f'ing to his stack size anyway I think when you raise that big preflop. And if you're going to check 2 streets, might as well check 3. You've already lost tons of value. Can't lose much more with another check. The "oh I forgot to bet, here I put you allin" after 2 checks just looks so tacky (I'd probably fold 99 there vs you). Even if he only had 11 bb's. It's just a bad way to get value. Finally, yes we have a HUGE hand. He only has 11 bb left. But think about it like this. Pair vs AK is still 50/50 preflop. SC hand vs AK is 40/60. You keep keeping him free cards, even if you think it's your hand now, our expectation gets lower and lower everytime we do this. Either he calls or he doesn't, whatever. Trips on a 2 flush 2 straight board is not the nuts. Quads=nuts. Boat=nuts. Trips /= nuts. With this single hand you've shown several things. You're not thinking about actions. You're just thinking "this is my hand," and then your brain shuts off. At the very least, think about what our actions tell villain. "I will 3bet to 15bb's then check to you twice on a KKx board." It's pretty obvious what you're doing. 23:50, Table 2. They've folded every time you had a big pair. And now it's 3 handed with 2 guys sitting out. Close this table! 25:00, overcalling UTG raise and button call with ATo in sb. SPEW. This is a huge leak if you're just hoping to hit an A. You're still in reverse implied situation, and now the pot's even bigger so you can lose more money when you hit your ace but it's no good. This type of hand is only good vs very aggressive players. Not an UTG raiser. 26:00... 27:00? QJ hand on ATT 2 flush. Flop bet fine. Turn check behind fine. He's actually letting you hit your outs anyway. You had 11 outs on him. Thanks! Minbet, whatever, any pair, any big hand does it, and I guess King hi. I don't see any low unconnected cards calling a ATT flop. I think you're actually calling to split with another QJ here. You can raise here, you don't need to raise big to get a bunch of folds from very small pairs and obviously King hi. Of course all Aces call, any big hands raise. We're not trying to bluff him off those hands, but we can set a good price to make a % of his range fold. Like 1/3 pot raise gets at least 25% of his minbet range mucked. Job done. Definitely +EV. Thanks for posting the video. And don't take my words too harshly. I'm not too good a player anyway. You'll get out of your downswing soon enough if you work on your game!
