Introduction

Didn't see an "Introduce Yourself" forum but I figured I'd make a post here anyway. My name's Jacob, nickname's Aufty and that's the name is play under. I play on Stars and FullTilt. I've been playing poker for around six months so I'm still largely a NEWBIE. Went through a big donkfest for around my first month of play and decided to do some research into my newfound hobby.

Did some light reading and joined TexasHoldemForums to see if I couldn't get some coaching or advice. The people there were couldn't have been more helpful and I've made a lot of poker friends. Since then I've been looking for sites like this where I can watch others play and develop my own playing style off what is working well for them.

I still have a long way to go but I've roughly broke even from my initial foolishness. Recently turned 80 dollars on FT into a bit over 500. Because of some cash out problems I switched back to Stars and now I can't make a winning play for the life of me.

Working on going back to the basics and developing my multitabling skills. If you have any MUST WATCH videos or MUST READ articles about beating the microstakes please let me know. Aside from that I look forward to meeting all of you and posting my own videos!

Welcome. You will find that this site has tons of great videos for microstakes players; hopefully you play 6 max b/c there are no full ring videos. If you go to the video discussion forum, people point out which they think are the best. There is a video where Trikkur talks about hand ranges- I think it is video twenty somthing. It should be one of the threads on top in the video discussion.

How long did it take to turn 80 to 500? That sounds pretty good so far. And welcome to the site!
