Using HEM / PT3 effectively

I'd like to put forth said discussion on how to maximise HEM and PT3 use to the max.

Not sure if it's been discussed before, but I'd like to know how you go about figuring your leaks using PT3 / HEM or whether you guys use a check-list like thing to go through your sessions. Want to plug a ton of leaks to stop the ship from sinking or rather to let the ship sail smoothly.

And what bout the HUDs? What do you guys use and what do you guys think should be in your pop ups, as I really want to stream line my HUDs and stuff.

Discussion is mainly for 6max/HU as I think everyone more orless plays that here LOL. And also if anyone is interested PLO?

Hi guys,

what I cannot understand with HEM yet is how can I use the "EV diff" column?
For instance, I had oversetted a guy yesterday and we were allin on the flop (my 77 vs his 33 on 763 2-club flop), and HEM shows that EV diff is negative. What does that mean?

I don't know anything about PT3. HEM has a bunch of leakfinding mechanisms built into it. Also, there are a lot of resources for using these programs out on the web. Same for the HUDs--and the stats I use are on my vids.

EV difference is the difference between the money you made and your EV in the pot. When you set over set the guy, you won 100% of the pot but you only had 95% equity, so you won more than your equity in the pot.

Ok, suppose I had 75% equity and won the whole pot of 100$,
will it show EV diff == 25$?
And more important, what conclusions can I make from this fact? I mean, can I say that negative EV is always not a good thing and positive is?

I did some filtering this weekend. Saw some leaks I think.

Losing money while calling 3bets, calling turn raises, calling river raises.

Winning money when betting and raising.

Hmmmmm... *gears start turning slowly*
