Default Performance-Enhancing Drugs?

Up until a few days ago, I had a no pot-and-poker policy. But, after smoking some of my dank nugs and playing some tables while high, I noticed my concentration rises significantly. I am able to much more easily think on a deeper level. I have less tilt issues, and can visualize and understand ranges much better as compared to a sober version of me. The downsides are that I get very sleepy and sometimes I temporarily forget the action (like I won't remember who's the preflop aggressor). I've noticed coffee also makes me play much better, without marijuana's downsides.

Anyone else here like to grind while totally zooted?

I don't smoke weed but I will share that adderall makes me 20x more effective at everything I do, poker included.

I can function fine without it, but when I'm tired but I really need to focus and get things done, it works wonders.

Yeah, I've heard of that, but I've always considered it a lot more serious than greens.

In general, amphetamines make you think faster but more shallower though it may seem not true to the user...

I prefer the tea)))

Yeah, haha, I saw that video and it made me laugh but I felt a little sick watching it too. The guy on the other end must've had some serious tilt when he saw it. I hope that if I played that high I would never play this baked. There's a limit to how stoned you can do things.

It's cool the first few times, but if I get psychologically addicted thinking I play better while high, then I NEED to get high before I play. Then I keep getting high every session, tolerance builds, I have to smoke more to get to that "point," tolerance builds even more, then I can't smoke to enjoy the recreational effects anymore. Then I stay high for 30 minutes at a time and it's just a mild head change. So I buy more expensive stuff, I get bombed, then I play a session and I don't even know where I am anymore, SPEWWWW.

You know how some movies are more fun while high? Like stuff that isn't even remotely interesting at all while sober cause you've outgrown that stuff and/or watched it so many times the novelty's worn off?

That can be a good or bad thing. They don't call the stuff dope for nothing. Thinking we play good while high doesn't really mean anything.

But even if you could prove it with hard numbers, I think just getting to that perfect level of intoxication is the hardest to control. It's much easier to get to a base level of attentiveness and calmness with the right diet and right sleep (or naps before a session).
