Default ** Post interesting HHs here **

I figured we could make a thread where ppl can post just some random HHs which are not worth thread in either strategy or BBV section.

So, if you do a big bluffcatcher, big bluff, win a 400bb pot or whatever even remotely interesting, post here! So, anything from brag to beat will do.

weaktight | Hand | 74o - $1/$2 No Limit Holdem

PS. No strategy derailing!

This should probably be a beat since you played the hand incorrectly FTOP wise.

And damn did you absolutely butcher that hand.

Dude when you posted that hand, what did you expect?

FWIW I like the second hand shove.

You to hate it.

At that point of the match I was pretty sure that his donkbets meant a weak hand or bluff (didn't think he's thinking enough to mix strong hands too). So, bluffs pretty much make sense when he calls that c/raise, and then he "has no other choice" than to donk again, because he doesn't have any hand.

...and I have pair+gutshot, so even if he calls I do have some outs. I'm good at sucking out!

It's far from standard and I'm not saying it's necessarily good, but I had a read and I was right this time.

I'm surprised.

To be fair none of your outs are actually clean and guaranteed, and villain can have anything from a good draw himself (not folding) to TP to second pair with a gutshot to flush draws to a set, all of which are rarely folding.

Why would he donkbet any of those again on the turn when my range is pretty much monsters or bluffs? I'm like always barreling the turn after I raise the flop. It doesn't make any sense for him to donkbet any hands on the turn here for value.

And his previous donkbets had all been weak and I didn't think he's tricky enough to donkbet straight, set or anything like that on the flop... and sets/2p would donkbet-3bet that flop probably.

PS. I wouldn't take that line against good tricky regular, because some of those certainly are capable of playing some sick leveling games and donk-calling and donkbetting the turn again with nut straight or something similar. Actually, I wouldn't take that line against anyone that I think is donkbetting big hands with reasonable frequency.

That would've just made the hand more hilarious (unless he hits ofc)

Anyway, we disagree with each other - let's just leave it at that. No need to go over this again.

Since no one else seems to be posting I guess I'll just spam this thread myself with my hh's...

Feel free to post, whatever stakes/game (PLO etc also welcome!) you're playing.

weaktight | Hand | 5Ks - $1/$2 No Limit Holdem

edit:
why is weaktightcom's title always saying $1/$2 on NL100 hand histories?
