Just curious who uses what? I hear people asking how to keep track of their stats on sites such as Cake or having problems importing hands. I downloaded the trial version of PT a long time ago I used it and then thought meh...Ill just get graph paper and a notepad from staples. I know it's not as detailed as PT is but I can at least keep track of my winrate and # of hands played etc. I also try to keep important notes on players down on paper aswell. I know the software is beneficial to everyone but I laugh when someone avoids a site because it is not compatible with the software, as if their game is totally dependent on the software. After all these programs haven't been around forever and poker players have been keeping stats of themselves for ages. So how do you keep track of your progress? |

Keeping track of your own stats, is one thing. Maybe can be done roughly with pen and paper. Keeping track of your opponents requires a shipload of paper and pens. Having a HUD requires some post-its. |
