May help solve a problem or two. Can I see the links where it talks about Chrome spying on people? |

Probably not, as it was the German "Datenschutzbeauftragte" (that's like "data security engineer" in english in my dictionary) who made some of the relevant statements, so I don't know if you could use that source. And it's been already a month or two, so I don't know on which site I read that. There was a short news clip on television argueing about those problems too as far as I remember, but I honestly can't give you any english source. I don't see any reason to change to a brand new browser when that ones company is known to handle data privacy issues in an debatable way. FF is great so far. Maybe the newcomer will take the competition between FF and IE to the next round, which would be good. That's all that matters to me. Edit: Maybe this can help you. It's about the fact that google chrome collects a critical amount of privat data on too many sectors on the PC. The word "spying" I used, takes the problem a little bit too far I think, but nonetheless do several german institutions warn to use this program. http://www.focus.de/digital/internet...id_331477.html

Competition will be a good thing and I never see IE winning. I would like Firefox to implement stuff such as being able to move the tabs into a separate window and back. Another is how Google runs tabs as separate processes so when one tab crashes they all don't. I wish FF had an option to toggle this on or off. Anyone wanna get this translated for me. I don't doubt the article I just only speak English. edit: Is it just me or does Google chromes logo look like a pokeball? |
