You should finish it and watch the OVA that came after it. I really wish they would pick the series back up like they did with Hajime No Ippo.

I just finished watching Gurren Lagann. It was paced a bit slow at times, but overall was really solid. It had amazing character development and I enjoyed it a lot. Its 27 episodes so it's not too long. It's another mech based anime, which seems pretty popular any more. I can't say I love mech anime, but they are being done expectionally well so I'll keep watching.

Hajime No Ipoo is still solid recently. I loved watching Ippo KTFO that random dude today. I'm really interested in seeing what happens with Takamura. I'm kind of guessing they we are supposed to assume he's going to lose. But it will hopefully be a good match.

Bleach has been alright. I kind of knew they were going to do these 5x 1 on 1 fights, but it's pretty solid.

Shippuuden is horrible. I'm so tired of this filler since 10 episodes ago. I know the series is already way behind the manga, so this is dumb to be wasting so much time. I really want to see Sasuke and the Akatsuki stuff.

I've continued watching 07-Ghost and it seems like it might be a good anime. I've not been watching FMA: Brotherhood, though I will catch up sooner or later.

I just started watching the Roruni Kenshin OVAs. I have tried to watch them 10+ times and never have gotten past the first OVA. I just finished it, so hopefully I'll get the next 3 before too long.

Wow, I just finished watching Rurouni Kenshini Trust and Betrayal and it is a perfect anime. I just watched the first 4 vids and if you've not seen them, you are making a horrible mistake.

It's been quiet around here recently

I've started watching Monster and it's been really good. It's a drama, murder, mystery anime. It is actually moving at a really fast pace and I'm only like 10 episodes in. I don't know how it is going to be 70 episodes or whatever.

Hajime No Ippo was awesome. Though it was weird watching it since I'm from the US. Still rooting for Takamura though. Bleach was ok. Naruto was sucky still.

I've been keeping up with 07-Ghost and it's pretty good 7 episodes in, though not amazing. I just watched up to episodes 4 of FMA: Brotherhood and I like it.

I'm at like 45. episode of Hunter x Hunter btw ^^ It's decent, the Joker charachter is highly entertaining. Didn't watch anime for a few months but I'm working full time on my bachelor thesis right now so... ^^

lol the last episode of the televised series must have been the biggest letdown ever at the time

I feel like I'm not goint to watch past the point where they disabled the leader of the spiders. I liked the parts with the spiders but the Greed Island thing is the most ridiculous idea I've ever heard and I didn't like any episode that had to do with it. It has the feel of a filler.

No, it's a part of the storyline. You have the Spiders OVA that comes right after the series, then 2 Greed Island OVAs. They started out weird, but are quite good. It is worth it.

I hope you are enjoying the series though.
