Default OOOPS...He hit reply to all.......

Let me set the stage a bit for you. The gentleman that I share an office with received an email from a good friend of his that was a mass email out to a bunch of people. The following was his email:

"I was thinking about heading up to Maryland for Christmas. As you know, things are very tight right now. I will be driving if I go. A nice woman that I have been seeing said that she would love to join me as she has never seen DC, Balt., or the Eastern shore. She would help with all the expenses, otherwise I could not go. She has 3 children, a 14, 10 and 4 year old. They have never seen DC of course. Write me and let me know your schedules. I was thinking of leaving Friday afternoon, although we are flexable. If it is a problem let me know. I will understand." (I did not correct any grammar)

Pretty harmless email, until........

" Hi XXXXXXXX:
I am very confused and trying to figure out to whom are you talking to thru this email since it is addressed to many people. If you are thinking of staying with us during your visit, you must be crazy to think your Mom and I are in the condition to accept strangers into our house especially during the holidays at the last minute notice. Besides, we already have our plans for the holiday and it means we will have to cancel it all for your visit. We don't want you to bring a girl friend to our house unless you are married to her. If you are really serious about her and it would be best for you to spend Christmas in Florida with her family.

Take care and enjoy the holidays with your new friends and do a better job next time introducing them to our family.

Dad"

Dad accidentally hit reply to all instead of reply

This might of been the best part of that all. At least his dad knows what the holiday season is about.
