Movie recommendations???

I have no job and im not taking any classes this summer so outside of a lot of hours of poker im looking for some good movies to watch.

Personal movies not to see,

21: If you read the book (Bringing down the house) which was amazing the movie did not even begin to do it justice, if i hadnt read the book maybe an ok movie but i was very disappointed.

Indiana Jones: I loved the other three as a kid however the new one just got too ridiculous. Standing on two cars going 60mph while having a sword fight for 5 minutes then falling off but catching back up to the cars by swinging on vines with monkeys who then help attack the bad guys, i kid you not..... not to mention going through 3 giant waterfall unscathed.

a crazy mindfuck of a movie is Momento... had to watch it multiple times.. I'm aklso a big fan of the older show A Beautiful Mind.

Iv never read the book 'Bringing Down The House' but i really enjoyed 21.
Indiana Jones just seems to stupid so i dont think ill be watching that one.

A couple of new films which i really enjoyed are, 'what happens in Vegas' , 'Never back down' and 'Step Up 2'

It all depends on what kind of movies you're into. Two recent gems imo are No Country For Old Men (hard to go wrong with the Coen brothers iyam) and There Will Be Blood (maybe the best movie I've ever seen).

I like "the orphanage" this is only a movie if you are sitting down and have a bowl of popcorn and watching it, because its all in spanish you wouldnt understand if at the comp and listening ( which I normally do to movies on tv while I play ). Very good movie IMHO


"Iron man" I know this is still in theaters great movie Ive seen it twice, only b/c the 1st time i was watching it the projector broke at the theatre and got a refund when only like 5min left. So I watched it again great movie.


"The hulk" not a great movie kinda ok but I much prefer the classic old one.

If I think of some other movies Ive seen lately ill post more....

Since this is a poker site, i feel like rounders should be mentioned, imo it is by far the best poker movie out there. (I have not seen any low budget ones) Perhaps you' ve watched it already, if not you might want to check it out.
