| Um .... yea ... there is a 4 card inside straight and the flush hits! At that point that is just spewing money to do anything against a donk like that!

| LMAO at this. Obviously you must be correct. Donks can never play any 2 cards. He never shows up with Ad9d or K9, Q9, J9 or even 89 there. Would love to see the post where you value bet river, he shoves with the 9, and you are FORCED to call and lose unnecessary money.

I don't play HU so correct me if I'm wrong. Watched like half of it and these are the things I noticed: You cbet too much in 3bet pots. I recall a hand where you 3bet AA then bet like 80-90% pot on a K33 rainbow. 50-60 % is more than enough. You call down wayyy too light . Now I could be wrong, but calling off your stack with only a bluff catcher is pretty spewy even for HU, right? Because you kept doing it the entire session. I don't think you ever fold TP WK. You are basically hoping opponent has air when he shoves the river and call every time. You play a decent TAG style preflop but suddenly turn into a calling station postflop. You don't get it in with your 2 overs + a flush draw in a 3bet pot after getting raised but for some reason call instead. And in general, you were checking and calling all the time when you often should've been betting or folding. My advice would be to first TRY and put your opponent on a real hand and only if things don't add up should you call down with bluff catchers. BTW, If I remember correctly, you had a coach? Didn't he teach you anything or were you ignoring his advices? Take no offence, it's just that the majority of your mistakes are pretty basic. You seem to be lacking solid fundamentals, that's all. And Qgel .... yes I had a coach, but seeing as I never really paid for anything, I guess you can say I got what I paid for. Although, to his defense, he never coached me in HU play. Only 6max mostly. |

Yea, I shove river all day long. The only possible hand that he can have there is 99 to make a straight. He might randomly have a flush, but honestly what are you going to do about it. I highly doubt you are planning on check/folding the river, in which case you might as well shove because you are going to call the rest of it off anyway. Since all the money is going to go in if you check and he bets his better hands, you might as well get money from him from his 2 pairs/overpairs, etc when he calls your shove, but would check behind when you check.
