hey folks, here is another HU session of me vs a tightish opponent with an overplayed AJs in the last hand. There are few key hands in it except #20 and the last one. My problem is to general adjust to these opponents postflop. I usually open a wider range PF (his stats were 39/34 so he wasn't THAT tight) but I'm quite unsure when it's time to play back postflop especially in limped pots. Any hints on that? I.e. raising his cbet on #9 to rep a lot of strong hands and fold out a huge range? |

He was so tight that you could've raised ATC on the BTN and just give him credit for his 3bets. You did neither of those. Give him credit atleast for his 1st 3bet and fold your KJ. And especially give him credit for his 1st 4bet. He just seemed to play ABC TAG style. That's not hard to notice, so don't 5bet shove AJ , he is never ever calling with worse and he is never ever folding. And do some better table selection next time, you won't make money playing solid regs. Last edited by Qgel; 11-03-2008 at 07:05 PM. |
