My first HU Cash game on Cake, I got it all in for stacks preflop. I had AKd, he had J9o. Of course the flop came J9K rainbow. Much more of a beat.

Your line is just not very believable and you have way too much showdown value to make a river bluff good here. It's a pretty easy c/f on the river as played, but I probably donk the flop with Q-high since it's usually ahead.

He calls the river cuz he was a calling station but thanks for your input... This guy was calling with anything and I was getting owned cuz he kept freakin hitting... He rivered me like twice and so by this point I was definently trying to play pot control with any weak pair.

Yes this thread was more of a joke than for actual commentary on lines n such. I will back Padawan up here, as I was watching him play. The guy was a total station that was running like God! He didn't call because he thought Pad had nothing. He called because he is a damn station!

Are you trying to make yourself look more stupid by saying that or what are you trying? If you knew he was a calling station, why'd you make a bad bluff on the river against him? Almost any decent HU player would call that with any pair. Nothing "soul read" in this.

it makes no sense cuz it was a joke.... I realized he was a station after this call... thats when I said F this... and left.. cuz as Adam said he was running like god calling everything..
sometimes you just cant win when someone else is hitting... I think my line made perfect sense for some pair other then the Q.... but I guess 7 3 is the FUCKING NUTS... and I just dont know how to play... so thanks for your input and I guess I should just start calling down with RIVERED BOTTOM FUCKING PAIR... SINCE APPARENTLY EVERYONE THINKS THAT IS THE RIGHT FUCKING PLAY...
