Default 50NL 4th st top and bottom pair vs aggression

Cake Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.50 BB (2 handed) - Cake-Poker Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com

BB ($33.60)
Hero (SB) ($46)

Preflop: Hero is SB with Q:heart:, 8:spade:
BB bets $1.50, Hero calls $1

Flop: ($3) J:club:, Q:diamond:, 10:diamond: (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $4.50, Hero calls $4.50

Turn: ($12) 8:diamond: (2 players)
Hero checks, BB bets $12, Hero calls $12

River: ($36) 4:heart: (2 players)
Hero checks, BB raises to $15.60 (All-In), Hero calls $15.60

Total pot: $67.20

Do you think my play is okay here? Could have led out on the turn and river, I guess? This was only the third hand with the villain; I folded on the other 2 hands- the first one I had called just the flop bet.

this was a 6 max table but heads up game, which I think causes villains to play it a little bit more like 6 max.

WTF, how do those blinds go on Cake? HH says you're SB but you are OOP and you only call $1 more preflop? Anyway, Q8o is awful hand to play OOP in HU. It'll just get you in trouble.

Anyway, that board in such that he probably wouldn't even cbet if he didn't have some kind of hand/draw... and he probably wouldn't bluff that turn/river with made hand when he has the option to check behind...

-> You shouldn't even consider calling here, there isn't really too many hands he'd turn into a bluff here.

Even if you have 9x, this is somewhat of a weird spot against TAG regular, because he probably isn't valuebetting anything worse, but he could easily have bigger straight or flush... Anyway, I would call with 9x, but I would never call with ANY worse hand here. Some tighter TAGs could probably even check bare 9x behind on the river, thinking there's no value in betting.

---

If you don't want to fold, leading turn (or river) is the worst possible option here... You might fold a few better hands (which probably would give you free showdown anyway) but you're never getting value. It's not a good spot to turn made hand into a bluff.

EDIT:
I'm blind. I didn't even see him overbetting this flop. That makes me want to fold even more, against some players maybe even on the flop. As I said earlier, villain knows that this board should hit your OOP calling range very well, so he could go for pot control with hands like AJ or even weak Qx here and it's very unlikely that he's even cbetting complete air here.
