It's odd that he minraises the turn. It is not like that is needed to get the money in.

this play is fine, right? With bigger stacks we might dump it to the turn raise, right?

I would never fold this hand with deeper stacks without a really strong read.

I hear you, Given. I really don't see how we can either. Most of the players that I come across at these stakes are pretty straightforward but, you know, not a lot of detail on this villain.

With those stacks you should just shove the turn. If he's raising with OESD he's calling and if he's raising with TP or smaller PP he's calling anyway.

I'd never fold an overpair in the first hand if the board isn't completely awful (even more than this).

River is actually a good card, as it lowers the possibility of some 2 pair and likely set combos that have you beat.

That said, I'm shipping the turn.
