$50nl - Turn 2pr on scare card

Villain is on the sticky side. He's 54/36 over 76 hands, he's never 3-bet but almost never folds pre-flop when I raise. I'm running 46/42 at this point and I've been 3-betting him a ton (mostly because I've had good hands to 3-bet with), and he's folded to a total of zero of my 3-bets. Post flop he's got passive stats, but he's bet every single time I checked the turn.

I checked the turn completely expecting him to bet -- but I really wasn't sure what to do the rest of the way. What's the best response to his turn bet, and what's the plan for the river if he doesn't fold?

Note we're 200bb deep.

I don't know why you checked with the intention that he'd bet without knowing whether you wanted to c/f, c/c, or c/r. I think I like b/f on the turn. As played, what about calling and block/folding the river?

Well, I had a plan... I just wasn't really sure if it was the best line.

b/f on this turn just seems kind of gross. I just can't think of anything I'll get any value from by betting, but if I checked I was positive he'd bet his entire range.

Yup, i think if he bets on river you gotta fold.. hes only betting a straight & checking any 2 pair
