Default Plz Help ME Watch Videos Again

a couple of weeks ago my computer got a virus and i had to get it rebooted.
it all seamed to be working after that. then i went to watch a video and and there was no sound. I thought it might be on mute but when i tried to find the sound option i worked out the computer wasent reconizing them as being plugged in.

Any Ideas????????????????????????

You probably don't have the drivers for your sound card installed. Call the OEM and ask them where you can find the drivers for your sound card. It should just be a simple download, install, reboot.

Are you able to get any sound at all out of your computer? It might have to do with your codecs.

Download the K-lite Codec pack from here and install. Make sure to get the full pack.

I think that this might be your issue. Either way, you should have these Codecs on your computer. Let me know if that works.

Windows XP is usually very good about using generic sound drivers. If you're using Vista... don't know what to tell you.

Happens to me when I download updates, try restarting your computeR? If you have call support and get your drivers.

this might no be applicable for you, but for whatever reason the videos don't steam on my computer so I just download them.
