To get the tables to tile, you need to adjust the resolution. Just because it is a larger screen doesn't change the table % that each take up.

Nah, can't its max resolution is on and anything smaller make everything look huge.

I've really been debating this idea when I get my next computer.. why buy a regular 20" monitor. Just buy a 42inch HD TV, a wireless keyboard & a PC tower. Then I can watch TV or surf the net...

This seem wrong to anyone?

Get a good wireless keyboard/mouse. Trust me I went through a few before I could play from 5-10ft away.

Yes. Most of the TVs are not meant for desktop use, so I'd rather have a monitor for everyday use and that TV as a 2nd monitor. On the other hand, some people have used TV as their only screen and been happy with it. It depends a lot on the TV also, some do better as a monitor than others.

My current setup is 24" screen (1920x1200 resolution) and Sanyo PLV-Z5 projector (720p) with 80" screen. I use projector for PS3 games and watching movies, monitor for everything else.
