Exams coming to an end and i've just finished booking tickets to Europe (because of amazingly cheap tickets on sale 1.2K AUD to England and back its usually 1.5k each way...), first trip outside Perth in the past 3 years looking forwards to it immensely. First time use of the money i earnt through poker as well to boot! Any good places to stay? i'll probably go backpacker hotels or something as i haer those places are a blast to live in and cheap as well. Any recommendations on what to do in Europe would be greatly appreciated i'll probably be staying in the London area for a week or 2 then going contiki for 16 days. |

Supposedly stuff is cheap over here compared to you filthy rich westerners (for a reference - grinding 10 bucks per hour is financially a very solid option for me), though the difference is getting smaller by the day. Well, was until the crash, that might have widened it again. |

By europe i mean i'm goign to initially be staying in London for 11 days where i hopefully can watch MJ (hate all you want he's still a balla in my books) and Derren Brown. But im taking a contiki which is basically a arranged tour for 18-35 Year olds through Belgium, Germany, Rome/vatican city, Italy, France (a few days in france) and one or 2 which i can't remember. I would of loved to go to Spain in particular as well as Sweden, Prague and Denmark but because of uni (skipping first 2 weeks of uni for trip already hahah) commitments can't go on the bigger contiki tours which takes 30 days and covers a huge range of European countries. On a side note, i just worked out my exact budget i have enough funds to have a good amount of spending money but in doing so will have to cash out my entire bankroll as of now. Looks like i'm going to have to grind out a fuck ton in my 5 day gap between exam finish and holiday begins (although i am taking my laptop with me FWIW) if i want to have a decent 200NL roll when i get back. Any recommendations on what to do or even better what not to do on any of these European countries would be awesome. Also whats good to do in London i hear Madam Tussauds as well as museums is alright but basically my only real plan is to stay in a hostel and drink it up on a daily basis. |

Yeah tbh the best choice is northern Norway, swedish and finnish lappi (lapland w/e) are equally boring. And by Island I obviously meant Iceland, just mixed up english and swedish a bit there... PS. It's vittu -> vitun. (vitun suomalainen)

why on Earth are you coming to Perth? Perth is an awesome place for a family and for chilling out. But for a long-term living place for 20 somethings (assuming you are apologies if not) its not the greatest, Eastern states are generally more happening |
