Hey guys, sad day for us. Had to put our golden retriever down today. She developed a tumor on her liver and she was in a lot of pain. It was the humane thing to do but that didn't make it any easier. Majorly bummed out |

Sorry to hear that. I lost my cat about 6 weeks ago. She left and didn't come back. She had managed to wiggle free of her collar the day before. Had a bunch of signs up but nothing. Animal warden hasn't heard anything. One time before she left for 10 days but finally turned up- someone called me because they found her. I think 90% that someone else took her in but I guess they haven't seen any of the signs/ 10% fox or car got her. The reason that I say 90% someone took her in is because she is a small, attractive, young cat that people really like. She would come up to me while I am sititng in a chair and rub her face against mine. When I am playing a session, she would sit on my printer and rest. |

Heh, your cat story reminds me of my mom's. Back in Ukraine, my mom and her parents used to own a cat for a long time. This was a rare breed, and they only got it because my grandfather had a high position in a construction company (government-run, like all companies) and could pull a few strings now and then. The cat was lost once when my mother went to college. She came back for the holidays, and it ruined her vacation to know that the cat was gone because she shared so many memories with her. Fast forward this some time (not sure how long, 1-3 years I believe) and she decides to go home a different route. As she's walking by one house, she sees a cat perched on the gate. She walks to up it, and lo and behold! my mother's surprise was probably amazing, because this was her cat that had gone missing. They brought it back home, but it disappeared again a few months later and was never found again. |
