I couldn't fold top two here tbh... I'm not liking my hand too much, but no way I'd fold. I'm not that good yet.

On the other hand, villain has so low fold to xxx stats, that his range has a more worse two pairs than it should. Then there's of course the gutshot to worry about too... But I still think this would be a +EV call, I'd say we're good here like 25-30% of the time. (splits are also possible ofc)

This actually reminds me of NL1k HU video by one finnish player (mrsmek), where he has something like 9-high backdoored flush on the river and opponents 3bet shoves into him and he's getting great odds for a call and he's still timebanking and cursing that he should really fold his hand because villain has A high flush...

(Flop was something rainbow A high, where A was different suit than the rivered flush and opponent had called a cbet)

I'm just not good enough to do folds like that, I guess.

If we could somehow get him to fold a set by shoving, I would do it... But there's no way that happens ever.

We are beat here VERY often and if he's bluffing or betting weaker two pair, he is almost never gonna call our river shove.

This really smells like he made aces up here. Not really sure why everyone wants to give a fish so much credit in a BvB hand. Truthfully i think hes got a worse 2 pair here a lot.

just realized how old this thread is

He could easily have flopped, turned, or rivered 2 pair. I snap call against a fish.

I doubt you can ever fold here and I really like shoving. He's going to think TP is the nuts on this texture and even vs sets/twopair/straight we have 43% equity assuming he never bluffs which is pretty unrealistic since he will have many gutshots in his range beside 87 on the flop. However, if does this with even one A-x hand (no two pair), we're a 53% favorite so we should ship it imo. Also, keep in mind there is a chance he'd raise sets and straights earlier in the hand whereas A-x only does so on the river.

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 54.000% 54.00% 00.00% 27 0.00 { AcTd }
Hand 1: 46.000% 46.00% 00.00% 23 0.00 { TT, 66, 44, As9s, A6s, A4s, 87s, 64s, A9o, A6o, A4o, 87o, 64o }

If he 3-bets TT and folds A4:

equity win tie pots won pots tied
Hand 0: 48.837% 48.84% 00.00% 21 0.00 { AcTd }
Hand 1: 51.163% 51.16% 00.00% 22 0.00 { 66, 44, As9s, A6s, 87s, 64s, A9o, A6o, 87o, 64o }
