Default Did I misplay this draw?

Hey guys, I found myself in a sticky spot today. I didn't feel that it would have been right to lay this down, but I'm also not sure about how I should have played this. What possible line options could I have taken instead?
-Cheers!

Pretty sick getting that flop and the guy donk-overbets. I think the only thing I'd do different is raise a little less on the turn and bet a little more on the river.

We only have 3rd nuts on a 4 spades board. I don't see much value in raising the turn since worse hands ( an 8 high flush ?? ) are hardly ever calling unless the guy is a big station. I just call down here and if he checks the river then possibly value betting but that would still be a pretty thin value bet.

A 38/7 is usually exactly that....

Very small sample and if I understood correctly (and I may not have) this hand was played while he was still a complete unknown. Also, stations generally dont value bet thin, they either underbet or overbet/pot their strong hands and check call everything else which wasn't the case here except maybe for the river which was probably induced by the turn raise.

Ya at the time he was a complete unknown.

Without reads on the villain, would it be bad to lay it down to the flop or turn bets? Or am I always calling it down here while avoiding risking my full stack?

Didn't notice how small the sample size was... anyway, if you're not going to value bet when you hit your flush you need to fold the flop.
