I'd check the turn for pot control 200bb deep.

I do not understand pot controling here. I am not saying that you are wrong, i just dont understand it. Arent we pot controling when we are a little weak or the board is too coridinated? This seems like the perfect card to keep firing. Or are we checking because we are not worried about much?

To the OP, to me that screams flopped straight or two pair, I would hate to call this river, not to say i would not call, but i think it would be wrong. at this point the only thing we are beating is a hand like A9 or A10, and i do not think he is calling the flop with that. I do not see a hand that he is calling the flop and the turn that we beat.

I don't want to felt TPGK for 200bb against an unknown. I want to play a medium-sized pot. That's why I'd go for pot control. I also think you're going to fold out most worse hands if you fire the turn. That's why aces are such good double barrel cards.

I can agree with what you are saying Given, but the way that i usually look at it is the fact that people try to float a lot with Ace high and will almost never fold when they do hit there Ace. I really feel like this guy has AJ and that is why he shoves on the river.

Bet/fold on the river would be a lot better imo... Since you checked I'm going to call his bet.
