I think that i know what i should do, but not 100% and did not feel good about the hand. Up until the point where it stops i think i played properly, but if you think otherwise please let me know. Although i am sure that goes without saying |

really? what do we feel he has that we are beating here? i know that this is a great flop for me but, but the way that he plays it, and he reraised pretty quickly, makes me feel like i am crushed. is it because we are getting a good price or we feel like he is just trying to push me out know that i know this is a good Cbet flop? |

He probably saw your donk bet as an attempt to take it down after missing. You say he's been beating you up all session, even more reason that he sees you as a weak tight player making a move. I happen to think he does this with his straight draws, his KQ, QQ, AJ, 10's, 9's, QJ etc as well as the occasional bluff to bully you out as previously noted. I ship it. Calling here is horrible for the obvious reason that you leave yourself $11 with a $25 pot. You'd have to give me a good read on him for me to fold here, to be honest. Wouldn't be shocked if other people will tell you to fold this though. |

it was not him that had been beating me up but the KQ hand. It seemed like everytime i got the hand i was in an awkward position. I agree that i would never call here as there is no point. i would not say that i had a great read as i usually play 8-10 tbls and this was fairly early on, but it just seems that a lot of the hands that you mentioned would call because it was a 3bet pot and i was always the aggressor. i used to make a lot of plays like that, just shoving, and it seemed that i was behind too often. now i have a pretty good win without show down record, so i feel my hand reading ability is fairly decent. but i also do not want to be losing value if a spot like this is a clear shove. |

Ahhh, I thought so, you'd been posting loads of KQ hands haha. Fair enough then. It's no where near a clear shove in my view, but I just think he'd call you and hope you barrell the turn if you had anything good. AT is another hand he's doing it with. Now I find out he's not been beating on you, you can move a few % of his bluffs to real hands. I still prefer shove to fold though. |

i would say that cutoff ranges here are wide enough that KQ is a dominating hand most of the time. i also have a fair amount of confidence in my post flop play to counter act. i feel KQ is an auto 3bet unless against a really nit player, then i might think about flatting. does anyone ever think that checking the flop is ever right for pot control? |

| No. As far as I'm concerned if I flop TP in a 3bet pot then I'm pretty much going with it. The only time I'd check is with the intention of CRAI.
