I like a bet fold on the turn because it tells you straight away whether or not he has an ace. You can even fold out hands that are beating you. Don't have to bet big, just enough for you to represent it. His calling range is so polarized that it should be easy to deduce whether or not you're good. In contrast, checking tells you nothing about his hand and makes your river decision extremly difficult.
