Default 50NL - AA on the turn

--------------------
HAND #1
--------------------

Full Tilt, $0.25/$0.50 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 6 Players

BB: $137.85 (275.7 bb)
Hero (UTG): $72.25 (144.5 bb)
MP: $54 (108 bb)
CO: $21.30 (42.6 bb)
BTN: $39.25 (78.5 bb)
SB: $50 (100 bb)

Pre-Flop: Hero is UTG with A ♣ A
Hero raises to $1.75[/color], MP calls $1.75, CO folds, BTN calls $1.75, SB calls $1.50, BB folds

Flop: ($7.50) 3 3 9 (4 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $7.50, MP calls $7.50, BTN folds, SB folds

Turn: ($22.50) 6 (2 players)

Villain is relatively new to the table, so no stats on him as yet, but he gives every indication of being the weak, loose, passive, fit-or-fold calling station sort of fellow. On an earlier hand, after calling a button opener from the SB, he donked pot at an AsTs3h flop, bet 3/4 pot when Kc turned, and check folded with only 20bb left in his stack when 6s came on the river.

Your bet.

I am opening for more than 1.75 (say at least $2 or $2.2). Would bet a little less on the flop. He is still not getting the odds to call the draw with a smaller bet. Did he hit the flush on the turn, who knows, bet and find out otherwise you are going to give him a free card to draw to hearts again. Im sticking in about $15 here and then seeing what he does.

prior to replying to the turn action, on such a dry flop, why the pot size bet? Especially if he seems to be a fit or fold type player.

Why? That is pushing out too many hands that we want to get money from. I don't want just the blinds with Aces.

It seems to me that the fact there are 4 players in the pot calls for a full pot bet. I'd hate to pick up two callers. Disagree?

mxrider, I was advocating a bigger preflop bet because we are under the gun and even though we have aces, there is nothing worse than getting someone calling and then having 3 other people tagging along because they are getting awesome odds.

I hates that

What's the best approach against this type of player? Slight overbet, maybe? $25 or so?

Question

I am curious to know what is the best approach here as well, since it would seem that if we do make any move other than a push (where we have decided that he does not have the flush) and he calls with four to the flush say, while a call would be a mistake on his behalf, does he not always have the correct odds to call our final river push? This assumes that we make a larger turn bet as opposed to a smaller turn bet.
