I think we are going to need more information? depend on the player... depends on the flop... depends on how much is in the pot... how much the inital raise was.. did you open.. did they open.. did you 3-bet... the list just goes on,,, its not so simple as oh if the board is low or dry or wet... so I guess to answer your question... NO there is no general rule |

Unknown villain in a $25NL or $50NL game. I'm obviously raising PF. Let's say 1. He limp calls UTG. 2. He raise calls UTG-MP. 3. He call from SB/BB. 4. He calls BTN. I'm just not sure there's a scenario in which we have AA that, if it gets shoved on the flop, we're not felting. |

Depends on the player, the board, my image and the pot size by the time we see a flop. There have been times where I've laid it down, mostly against loose passives who sudenly come out with a huge check raise or something on a super wet flop. I also can't count the amount of times I've called a shove with it on a wet board and seeing crazy draws. So all in all, 'it depends'. |
