Villian is an average player - playing a pretty decent tag style - I'd say c-bets over half the time. Not sure if I should've just called the c-bet a re-evaluated on the turn but I felt like I had enough fold equity if it was just a c-bet to take the pot down right there. Pus the pot bet here made me think he had something like AK afraid of the diamond draw or a pair under the K.. maybe QQ-JJ. I think I made the right play. Could anyone find a fold after the shove? I'm thinking maybe but with a straight flush draw it was just too hard for me. OH YEAH HAND HISTORY PLAYER NOT WORKING FOR ME EITHER.... one the flop you have about 50% equity aggainst his percieved range. Board: Kd Td 6s Dead: equity win tie pots won pots tied Hand 0: 50.693% 50.39% 00.30% 8980 53.50 { AdQd } Hand 1: 49.307% 49.01% 00.30% 8733 53.50 { QQ-JJ, AKs, AKo } once he shoves you are getting about 2.5 to 1 on your money so you only have to win about 28% of the time to be profitable. so yes, this is a snap call. i also like the raise. on this flop you really want to look for a way to get all of the money in now while you are ahead. if you feel that he has a hand like AK there is a good he will call a raise or shove on the flop. but if you called and the diamond hit, you would have a much harder time getting value out of him. |
