I just jumped off my tables at $25NL after doubling up my total (3 tables run up to a bit over 6 buyins). I just felt like I had too much money on the table. Am I a chicken? One of the tables I had ~$204BBs, 4 20BBs players and some monster dud at 400BBs. So I dropped that table quick. One table had a crazy multi-tabler who kept stacking off with 2nd pair, but I figure he'll be around. Also, my PFR% is taking a dip because I've started call/floating IP. I've been happily calling PF IP and maybe floating the flop. If the raiser checks the flop or the turn, I bet. It's crazy how often this works. Thanks trikkur/loltrickedu. I know you guys say don't bother floating SSNL, but it seems to be working on $25NL FTP. Status Update: I've managed to go from 5 BIs to 24 BIs since I started with PokerTriks about two weeks ago! |

there is no reason to leave a good table just evaluate it. Your stack size isnt really that important its how the other players are your effective stack size and position on fish vs. competent players. If the monster was on my left or 2 to my left i would probably leave, but if i have position im lookin to win a 400bb pot

Makes sense. Monster was three to my left so even distance. Since everyone else was short, we were kinda dancing around each other. I figured the only way the money was going in was some kind of cooler (we were both showing down nut hands), and I didn't know which way it would break. :-) I kept a note on that multi-tabler. When I first saw him he had ~200bb at most of the tables I found him at. I was a bit nervous till I saw his play. Crazy. He loved to shove bluffs on the river. I guess I was just freaked out having 30% of my BR in play. I had been running pretty well and figured it was time for a break anyway. I suppose optimally I would just keep dumping less interesting tables and stick on good ones until I get tired. I've been working on cutting myself off sooner because I tend to play until I'm not thinking straight. When I play live, I regularly sit for 18 hours because it's such a pain to get to the casino. I live in Texas where Texas Hold'em is illegal. The underground games are either super tough or swingy with maniacs. You have to drive to an adjoining state to play. I can get to the OK border in 2 hours, but that's not something I can do weekly. |

| This part is incorrect (but that's not legal advice ). There is at least one casino in Texas that spreads NLHE, although I'm told that it's pretty shitty.

Again, I'm not saying that it's worth going to, just that it exists. |

nothing wrong with shutting down for a while when you have 30% of your BR on the tables. Or even to lose the tables with the largest chunk and continue on. If you feel you can kill it though keep going, only takes 1 f**k up to blow it all though |
