Default AJs call, 4 bet, or fold

I am just getting back AGAIN into trying to beat this limit - but I am a LOSING player at the mo. This hand about sums it up for me - what should I do? Call, or 4 bet or fold which is what I did - but it seems so weak with AJs. I have even bought Holdem manager now, to see if it helps me, cuz I need it. Guys stats were 21/4 after 28 hands and I would of had position after the flop as well.

What sort of hands as a struggling player should I be calling/raising 3 bets with.

I'd say folding is the best option here. 28 hands is small sample size to go by but so far his stats indicate he plays a bit passively. So if he's 3 betting after u raised UTG then I think most of his range has you crushed.

I think you did the right choice folding pre.
AJ is a troublehand and i´ve been struggling with it myself. In this case you raise UTG and he reraises you in BB, which tells me he´s got a strong hand.
So if we put him on AA,KK,QQ,AK,maybe AQs you´re in pretty bad shape cause you´re dominated.
Yes, you have position on him but what do you do if an J comes on the flop and he leads out big?? Call, reraise?? Let´s say you call and turn is a blank and he leads big again, you´re most likely crushed, and if you reraise the flop and he shoves, you´re dead.

I´ve lost some buyins with AJ so i´m a little more careful nowdays when i play it.

This is a standard fold, as K-off said you are dominated by so many hands.
If villian had been 3betting alot or squeezing alot, you could put a 4 bet in here to represent a huge hand, and watch him fold. But sicne you dont know much about him it is fine to fold.

Nice hand. 4betting a 21/4 with AJ would have been really bad.

Fold. You basically need a straight or flush to feel safe here. 2P is ok, but from experience, it can cost you a buyin (ex. flops AKJ, AQJ).

Thanks for all the advice - going to be playing a lot tomorrow, so may have a few more hands I am uncertain what to do with. This is my last chance to see if i can beat NL10, otherwise its back to the sng's I reckon

one thing to add(though obvious fold). If you have 3 callers your hand is pretty strong, cause if you catch flushdraw or s8, or 2p it's easy stack for you, if hit or stood up. And odds wil be long run favourable for you too.

A guy with those PF stats is 3betting light about never. Folding is best, calling isn't a huge spew but is probably slightly -EV, and 4betting is a massive spew.
