i am not saying that you should just open shove. but you need to play it faster. You are a favorite in this hand. If you had AA and and knew that villian had a lower pair you would bet to get value. that is what we are doing here. trying to get value.
also if we bet he raises and then we shove, we also have fold equity which makes us a big favorite in the hand. lets not forget about the times that we call down and do not hit and let him take us to value town. or we hit on the river and bet and he folds. we could have bet with air. we just lost value.
i am just saying that i started making a lot more money with my draws once i started playing them this way. yes, i do get people that just fold and it feels like you just lost money, but that happens when you have AA too. i have gone though runs were it feels like i do not get any value out of my good hands and am only getting called when i am crushed. but that is just a bad streak.
last night i got AA twice and KK twice in the first 5 minutes of play. Both of my KK hands got cracked by sets and i lost my stack. then i got AA and lost my stack to a set. then i got AA again, raised and everyone folded. Now i am not going to play any differently. it just happens, although i think i did cry a little. lol
